  • GlowTTS models for Talrómur1 (22.10)

    This release contains GlowTTS models for four different voices from the Talrómur 1 [1] corpus. The models were trained using the Coqui TTS library after it was adapted for Icelandic. Included is the model, model configuration, log file for the training and the recipe used for each model. Þessi útgáfa inniheldur þjálfuð GlowTTS módel fyrir fjórar mismunandi raddir úr Talrómur 1 [1] gagnasafninu. Módelin voru þjálfuð með Coqui TTS verkfærakistunni sem búið var að aðlaga fyrir íslensku.   • Multi-speaker GlowTTS model for Talrómur 2 (prerelease) (22.10)

    This release includes a partially trained multi-speaker model using the GlowTTS architecture in the Coqui TTS library [1]. The model is trained on all of the speakers in the Talrómur 2 [2] corpus. The release includes the model, training log, model configuration file and the recipe used to train the model. The model included here is the best model available during the training at the time of publishing. At run time it is possible to choose any of the voices to produce a similar sounding synthesized voice. Þessi útgáfa inniheldur módel þjálfað á mörgum röddum með notkun GlowTTS nálgunarinnar í Coqui TTS verkfærakistunni [1]. Módelið er þjálfað á öllum röddum í Talrómur 2 [2] gagnasafninu. Innifalið í pakkanum er módelið, þjálfunarsaga, skjal með stillingum fyrir módelið og forskriftin sem var notuð til að þjálfa módelið. Módelið sem er hér inni er besta módelið í þjálfunarferlinu á þeim tíma sem þetta er gefið út. Þegar módelið er keyrt er hægt að velja hvaða rödd sem er úr Talrómur 2 gagnasafninu til að búa til upptöku með sambærilegri rödd.     Trained models for four voices from the Talrómur [1] corpus trained with VITS [2] and exported to the onnxruntime [3] for Piper TTS [4]. The four voices are Búi, Salka, Steinn and Ugla.   • TTS Document Reader (22.10)

    ENGLISH: This project contains a web application where users can upload a text document for reading by a TTS system. To set up this application you need a connection to a TTS service, the communication with the service is implemented in a way that matches the TTS service interface as implemented by the LT program. The application is written in Ruby-on-Rails. ÍSLENSKA: Þessi hugbúnaðarpakki inniheldur vefviðmótið Skjalalestur. Notendur geta hlaðið upp textaskjölum og fengið .mp3-skrá til baka þar sem skjalið hefur verið lesið af talgervli. Til þess að setja upp viðmótið þarf að hafa aðgang að talgervilsþjónustu. Ef nota á hugbúnaðinn óbreyttan þarf talgervilsþjónustan að hafa sömu forritunarskil (API) og talgervilsþjónustan sem þróuð var innan íslensku máltækniáætlunarinnar.

  • Icelandic TTS for Android (22.10)

    ENGLISH: The Símarómur application provides an Icelandic TTS application for the Android TTS service. The application provides access to voices over network of the Tiro TTS API and on-device voices that are bundled via assets. The app offers connections to most of the voices that have been developed within the LT program at this time. The voices themselves and the TTS service were developed at Reykjavik University and at Tiro ehf. Símarómur býður upp á tengingar við flestar þær raddir sem þróaðar hafa verið innan Máltækniáætlunarinnar, annars vegar gegnum vefþjónustu Tiro og hins vegar sem raddir sem keyra á símanum sjálfum. Raddirnar sem Símarómur notar voru þjálfaðar hjá Háskólanum í Reykjavík, Tiro ehf. þróaði TTS-vefþjónustuna sem Símarómur notar (sjá http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12537/268)

    Tiro TTS is a text-to-speech (TTS) API web service that works with various TTS backends. By default, it expects a FastSpeech2+Melgan+Sequitur backend. See the https://github.com/cadia-lvl/fastspeech2 repository for more information on the backend. The service can accept either unnormalized text or an SSML document and respond with audio (MP3, Ogg Vorbis or raw 16 bit PCM) or speech marks, indicating the byte and time offset of each synthesized word in the request. The full API documentation in OpenAPI 2 format is available online at tts.tiro.is. The code for the service along with further information is on https://github.com/tiro-is/tiro-tts/releases/tag/M8.   • MOSI: TTS evaluation tool (22.01)

    EN: MOSI is a text-to-speech (TTS) evaluation platform. The platform is focused on listening tests. Organizers can upload audio clips to be evaluated using Mean opinion score (MOS), AB or ABX setups. The platform allows the organizers to arrange and plan the evaluations, customize the setup, send out invite links to participants and view and download the results.
